This is who I am

I am not sentimental, I am not nostalgic, I do not look backwards.
I am not going to waste my time on things that frustrate, disappoint, and bore me.
I am not going to waste my brain and talents on data entry
I am not going to work 8 hours a day 5 days a week 50 weeks a year 


I am going to find simplicity, freedom, love and travel
I am going to re-discover friendship 
I am going to break the chain of consumption that binds us as slaves


I am going to dig my fingers into warm soil
I am going to hug everyone I love every time I see them
I am going to stand on top of a mountain and scream into the emptiness


I am going to defend those who are attacked
I am going to befriend those who are lonely
I am going to staunch the wounds of those who are injured
